Your criticism of it covers what I would have said perfectly.

The competition is certainly getting more interesting as contestants leave. Coco is certainly favourite for my money, with Nora as the dark horse who might just go all the way.

Looking forward to seeing the result of this week's vote.

Actually - I have to fix what I said about Nora - ...

Actually - I have to fix what I said about Nora - Coco is also "putting out" if we're talking about sex ... but I was thinking more in contrast to Tess ... and wondering how far a 20-something virgin would go on a show like SATC.

OMAR

It will be interesting to see just how far he makes it through.

IGOR
Is boring me rotten. I hate to use broadsweeping comments - but it has the whinging Pom factor splashed all over it. And after promising some action we got a self conscious rant which completely broke the narrative. I feel justified now in where my votes have been placed in past rounds. There is absolutely no connection with the MC - I find him more repugnant than Frank Braun. And feel as though Round Four is the death knell for him.

RHAE
I agree there is no MC to connect with - however it is almost as though she's been a bit trick weaving in some personal experience - which tugs at the outter reaches of character connection. I have to admit I am losing my patience with it and becoming bamboozled by all the science. LIke you - I think the backstory could have been more wisely woven - but as we both know from being outside participants - it is almost impossible to anticipate what the challenge will be and where the narrative will have to go to fit it. Unless there is a MC inserted in the next round - I can't see Rhae maintaining her momentum - which will be sad - because she has been cautioned all along about needing character interaction of a higher calibre.

NORA
Isn't she the dark horse. I abhor his genre but you have to give credit where credit is due and give her the thumbs up for writing faithfully and well in the genre. Sex sell and Nora is the only one putting out. Plus she's perfected the cliff hanger (a good soapie trick) to keep the reader wanting more - even though we're gaging on the "heaving melons" etc and the awful cliched sex. To me - Nora knows her limitations and the limitations of her genre and is ensuring there's a PLAN B to get her through each round. Hat's off to her for that.
